Zelensky sacked the heads of Luhansk, Odessa and Khmelnytsky regions — Meduza

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky signed decrees on the dismissal of three heads of regional administrations – Lugansk, Odessa and Khmelnytsky. The decrees are published on the Head of State’s website.

Sergei Gaidai removed from his position as head of the Lugansk regional administration, Maxim Marchenko – from the post of head of administration of Odessa, Sergei Gamalie – from the post of head of the Khmelnitsky administration.

Gaidai has been head of administration since October 2019, Marchenko since March 2022, Gamaly since December 2020.

The reasons for the resignations are not disclosed.
