Expert Leonkov said that the trajectory of GLSDB ammunition is readable
Trajectory of the Ground Launched Small Diameter Bomb (GLSDB) munition launched by the Armed Forces Ukraine (APU) using the American High Mobility Artillery Rocket System launcher (HIMARS) and multiple rocket launcher system (MLRS), readable for Russian air defense systems (ADS). “Anything brought from abroad for the Ukrainian authorities is immediately declared a miracle weapon. This ammunition has two advantages: a range of 150 kilometers and the possibility of maneuvering in flight. But, it turned out that for our air defense, its trajectory turned out to be readable, ”said the specialist.
According to him, the success of the GLSDB interception depends on the amount of ammunition fired. “If the Ukrainian forces manage to use more of these bombs at a certain time than we have air defense missiles in service, then maybe they will achieve a certain result. The enemy is also cunning, but our air defense showed that this supposedly indestructible bomb suddenly became destructible, and you can’t call it a miracle weapon,” Leonkov said.

In the same month, Leonkov saidthat the Armed Forces of Ukraine are trying to suppress the Russian air defense system in the area of the special military operation, using GLSDB shells.
