Colonel of the LPR spoke about the failure of the offensive of Ukrainian troops on Svatovo
Armed Forces Command Ukraine (APU) planned an attack against town of Svatovo in the Lugansk People’s Republic (LPR) over the weekend of March 25-26, said LPR military expert Colonel Vitaly Kiselevwriting TASS.
According to him, “information has arrived about Svatovo and Kremennaya”. The Russian army learned that near the settlements of Borovaya, Podliman, Nizhnyaya Zhuravka, Boguslavka, in the area of the Oskol Reservoir, two or three days ago, columns of the Ukrainian army were lined up.
“As they reported, they said that this weekend Svatovo will already be theirs and they will celebrate the victory in Svatovo. Apparently something went wrong, and in the last 24 hours, these columns have disappeared somewhere,” the colonel said of the failed offensive. He clarified that the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was called to Kharkov.
Kiselev too reportedthat the Russian army is engaged in counter-battery combat with units of the Ukrainian armed forces under Lisichansky.
