Prime Minister Shmyhal: Ukraine and Canada will conclude a free trade agreement
Prime Minister Ukraine Denis Chmygal in his Telegramchain said the country will enter into an updated free trade agreement with Canada.
“We have just signed a joint declaration on the completion of negotiations with the Prime Minister Justin Trudeau“, underlined the politician. According to him, by its content, it is about an exceptional agreement which will intensify the exchanges Kyiv with Ottawa and create unique opportunities for Ukrainian businesses.
Former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau declaredthat the country will send a new military aid package to Ukraine, which will include machine guns, machine guns and ammunition. “Today we are announcing that we will send even more weapons. We will send 21,000 assault rifles, 38 machine guns and over 2.4 million cartridges,” the politician said.
Also April 11 reportedthat Canada has expanded anti-Russian sanctions – restrictive measures are introduced against 14 persons and 34 legal entities.
