DONETSK, March 15 – RIA Novosti. Two people – a woman and a 14-year-old boy – were injured on Wednesday in the Petrovsky district of Donetsk as a result of shelling by Ukrainian troops, the DPR’s representative office told the Joint Control and coordination of war-related issues. Crimes of Ukraine (JCCC) said. “On the operational lines of the DPR JCCC, on March 15, information was received about casualties among civilians in the cities of the Republic: the city of Donetsk (Petrovsky district): a teenager born in 2009 was injured on Saltykov-Shchedrin St., 2009; a woman was injured on Kompozitorov St., born in 1963,” reads the message posted on the representative’s telegram channel. In addition, the department reported that at 10:35 a.m. Moscow time, the Ukrainian military fired four 155-millimeter NATO caliber shells into the specified area. The mission had previously reported three attacks in the area on Wednesday, with a total of 12 shells fired in 155mm and 152mm calibers. The Petrovsky district of Donetsk is located on the western outskirts of the administrative center of the DPR, it is the farthest part of the city from the center. Since 2014, when the DPR declared independence from Kiev, this area, from the line of contact outside the town of Marinka, has been regularly bombarded by Ukrainian security forces.
