White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre described armed violence in UNITED STATES a consequence of Republican reluctance to ban assault weapons. His words lead RIA News.
Jean-Pierre noted that over the past year, American schools and churches have become places of murder. “We must ban assault weapons,” she said.
The spokeswoman reached out to Republicans, asking how they would explain their policy to the families of those who died at a private school in Nashville. “The Republican position that nothing can be done is unacceptable,” she said.
