Actor Kuznetsov spoke about the shooting of the movie “Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore”
Actor Alexander Kuznetsovknown for his roles in the projects “Kept Women”, “Heart of Parma” and “Skif”, said in an interview with Yuri Dudyu (registered by the Ministry of Justice in the register of foreign agents) on the set of Fantastic Beasts: Dumbledore’s Secrets.
According to the artist, he accidentally met the casting director of all the films on Harry Potter at the Subtitle festival. “I didn’t know it was Fiona Weir, the casting director of all of Harry Potter, I didn’t know what she looked like, and no one told me it was her. It’s good that I don’t don’t know, otherwise I would have acted like a fool with excitement, guaranteed,” he said. Ten months later, the actor’s agent contacted him and told him he had landed a role in Fantastic Beasts.
Kuznetsov then went to the filming location and contracted the coronavirus. He was immediately sent to quarantine. According to the artist, he was sure that he would be replaced. However, as noted by the actor, the director of the film David Yates insisted that Kuznetsov stay in the film.
Kuznetsov also noted that he did not consider the film a success, as it lacked “Harry Potter magic”.
