MOSCOW, March 19 – RIA Novosti. We must stop pumping Ukraine with weapons in order to resolve the conflict, Italian MEP Francesca Donato wrote on Twitter. The demonstrators opposed the sending of weapons to kyiv and the withdrawal of France from the North Atlantic Alliance. Thousands of French people took to the streets, chanting “Quickly leave NATO!”, “Macron, we don’t want your war”, “Macron retired, for a vote of no confidence!”, “Frexit!” , “Ursula, we don’t want you”. On the posters of the demonstrators, it was written: “Stop the war provoked by the USA and NATO”, “Freedom, truth, resistance”, “Vote of no confidence – peace in France”. This is the third “March for Peace” organized by the Patriotes party. The previous two took place in February. In the context of a Russian special operation in Ukraine, the United States and its NATO allies are supporting kyiv by sending it weapons. The programs cost tens of billions of dollars. Moscow, for its part, has repeatedly said that such supplies only prolong the conflict and that vehicles with military equipment become a legitimate target for the Russian army.
