MOSCOW, March 30 – RIA Novosti. The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) has in absentia accused the head of the Federal Air Transport Agency, Oleksandr Neradko, of supplying planes for the transport of Russian military personnel, the department said on Thursday. “As a result of investigations, an evidence base has been collected against the head of the Federal Air Transport Agency of Russia, Alexander Neradko,” the department said in a telegram channel. The SBU claims that Neradko allegedly involved four Russian airlines and their planes in transporting Russian military personnel, weapons and ammunition. Neradko was charged with “planning, preparing, initiating and waging a war of aggression” under Ukraine’s criminal code. Russia has been carrying out a special military operation in Ukraine since February 24, 2022. Russian President Vladimir Putin called its task “the protection of people who have been victims of intimidation and genocide by the Kiev regime for eight years.” According to the President, the ultimate goal of the operation is the liberation of Donbass and the creation of conditions guaranteeing the security of Russia.
