The Russian Volunteer Corps (RDK) posted on its Telegram channel a video of an attack on border villages in the Bryansk region in early March. Previously he promised show a “film-refutation of our adventures”.
“Nearly a month has passed since these events. Now that all the conspiracy theorists, ‘experts’ and other respected figures have spoken, we will show you the previously promised video that will shed some light on the events of March 2,” the RDK said in a statement.
The posted video lasts just under three minutes. Most of the recording is a clipping of shots showing how the fighters were preparing for the operation. Also on the video there is a short fragment in which the RDC commander Denis Kapustin, being next to the sign “Communist Street 158” (there is such a street in the village of Lyubechan), says that the RDC “does not not fight with civilians.” He also called on all citizens of the Russian Federation to join the fight against Vladimir Putin.
Also, there is another moment in the video, announced by the RDK. “The most important thing awaits you at the end: what do the RDK fighters do when a car with the civilian population of the Russian Federation comes into their sight? The answer is in our video, ”says the telegram channel.
The released recording contains a fragment in which RDK fighters meet a civilian car with Russian numbers and shout: “There is a special operation, saboteurs, back, FSB”. They force the car to roll in the opposite direction. What happens after that is unknown.
On March 2, the Russian authorities announced the penetration of a “Ukrainian sabotage group” into the Bryansk region. The head of the region Alexandre Bogomaz reported two dead civilians and an injured child. Russian President Vladimir Putin called the incident a “terrorist attack”. The Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation opened a criminal case under the article on the terrorist act.
The Russian Volunteer Corps (RDK), which is fighting alongside Ukraine, claimed responsibility for the attack. RDK Commander Denis Kapustin declaredthat the operation in the Bryansk region was agreed with the Ukrainian authorities, “otherwise it simply could not have passed”.
In turn, Mikhail Podolyak, adviser to the chief of staff of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky declaredthat Ukraine had nothing to do with what happened and suggested it was the actions of “Russian partisans” who are “starting to dismantle Putin’s regime”.
