Russian motorized rifle units repelled an attempted attack by Ukrainian troops in the Kharkiv region. This is reported RIA News in reference to Yevgeny Polovodov, head of the press center of the Zapad group.
As Polovodov told the agency, in the area of Masyutovka and Gryanikovka settlements, personnel of the 14th separate mechanized brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces tried to attack Russian army positions. However, with artillery support from motorized rifle units, the enemy suffered defeat by fire. As a result, the Ukrainian fighters were forced to retreat to their previously occupied positions.
Also Polovodov saidthat two sabotage and reconnaissance groups were destroyed in the area of the settlements of Rozovka and Novoselovskoye in the direction of Kupyansk.
