Ombudsman Lvova-Belova called her ‘arrest’ by The Hague court an assessment of helping children

Previously March 17 ICC gave to warrant for the “arrest” of the Russian leader Vladimir Poutine and Presidential Commissioner for Children’s Rights Maria Lvova-Belova. It was clarified that the ICC took this decision in relation to the situation on Ukraine.
The ICC has already declared on the intention to initiate two criminal proceedings against Russia for war crimes in Ukraine. Moscow repeatedly denied the charges and called them false. President Putin’s Press Secretary Dmitry Peskovin turn, saidthat Russia does not recognize the jurisdiction of the International Criminal Court.
