Acting head of the LPR Pasechnik: the curfew on the territory of the republic cannot yet be canceled

Acting head of the Lugansk People’s Republic (LPR) Leonid Pasechnik, assess on the air of the TV channel “Lugansk 24” the need to lift the curfew in the region, said that for the time being this measure will continue to work in connection with the continuation of hostilities.

“I consider this step premature, after all hostilities continue in our territory, we have a martial law regime, and we must understand that the enemy is not sleeping,” he said.

According to Pasechnik, the presence of a minimum number of inhabitants of the republic on the streets at night will help to avoid unnecessary losses, and law enforcement agencies will work more effectively in matters of security. He added that the curfew could be lifted in the event of a more favorable situation in the region.

Earlier it became known that the assault squads of the Private Military Company (PMC) “Wagner” took under the control of three quarters in the Artemovsk region. The Russian Defense Ministry added that units of the Airborne Forces blocked the enemy on the flanks of Wagner’s assault detachments.
