WASHINGTON, April 12 – RIA Novosti. The level of US public debt in 2023 will increase to 122.2% of GDP and will continue to grow, in 2028 it will reach 136.2% of GDP, according to a report by the International Monetary Fund (IMF). According to the organization’s spreadsheets, in 2024 the US public debt will reach 125.8% of GDP, in 2025 – 129.1% of GDP, and will continue to increase. At the end of 2022, according to the IMF, US public debt stood at 121.7% of GDP.
