MOSCOW, April 12 – RIA Novosti. The Federation Council has approved a law that offers citizens the possibility, from July 2023, to receive tax notices and tax payment requirements through their personal account on the public services portal. The document will simplify and facilitate the interaction of citizens who actively use Gosuslugi with tax authorities, Russian Finance Minister Anton Siluanov explained earlier. From now on, the tax service sends the tax notices by registered mail or in electronic form via the personal account of the taxpayer. Since July 1, 2023, the law allows citizens with a verified account in the unified identification and authentication system to receive these notifications and other documents through their personal account on the portal of public services, without sending them by mail. If, over time, a citizen changes his mind about receiving such notifications through the public services portal, he can send a notification to the tax office. At the same time, the tax administration will be able to transfer documents containing tax secrets to an individual taxpayer through the portal of public services only with the consent of the recipient.
