The EEC has extended the threshold for duty-free import of goods into the EAEU to 1,000 euros
Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) has decided to extend the duty-free import threshold for goods in Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) in the amount of 1,000 euros by October 1. This was announced on Thursday March 30 by the official representative of the EEC Iya Malkinatransmits CASS.
The excess threshold for individuals will be one thousand euros and 31 kilograms for goods transported by a carrier or in postal shipments, brought as baggage by all modes of transport, except air, or on foot. In this case, if the cost of the goods is higher or the weight is higher than the established one, you will have to pay a duty of 15% of the order value, but not less than two euros per kilogram.
In 2022 EEC approved raising the duty-free import limit to one thousand euros for goods purchased by individuals via e-commerce. As noted in Ministry of Economic Developmentthis measure will help reduce the cost of citizens and provide another source to saturate the consumer market
