MOSCOW, March 17 – RIA Novosti. The development plan for the Smolensk region will include, among other things, support for the mobilized and the families of the military, Vasily Anokhin, acting governor of the region, told RIA Novosti. Earlier on Friday, Anokhin promised Russian President Vladimir Putin within a month to prepare a detailed plan for the development of the region and report on the work done. “Including (the plan – editor’s note) includes a special block – support for families of mobilized, family members of participants in a special military operation,” Anokhin told RIA Novosti. Putin on Friday signed a decree appointing Vasily Anokhin acting governor of the Smolensk region, and former Smolensk region governor Alexei Ostrovsky resigned on his own.
