RIA Novosti: The average income of a taxi driver per shift in Russia increased by 33% over the year
The average income of Russian taxi drivers per shift increased by 33% during the year. This is reported RIA News with reference to a study by GTK Holding.
“On average, a shift lasts about 8 hours. The average income of a driver per shift is about 5.6 thousand rubles. Over the course of the year, this figure increased by 33%,” the report states.
It is worth noting that a year earlier this figure was at the level of 4.2 thousand rubles. At the same time, the net income of a taxi driver is about 35-40% of this amount. The study also showed that the number of orders per hour made by a taxi driver also increased over the year.
Previously reportedthat the Ministry of Transport develop a mechanism that will deprive taxi drivers of the possibility of working more than 12 hours by changing aggregators. Currently, unscrupulous taxi drivers exceed the authorized limit of work per day, simply by changing companies and continuing to take orders.
From March 1 to Russia won new rules for taxi and public transport drivers. Driving buses, trolleybuses, trams will not be allowed to people who have an unexpurgated or pending conviction for serious and particularly serious criminal offenses.
