BELGOROD, April 8 – RIA Novosti. Two teenagers were injured in the Belgorod region due to improper handling of the found projectile from the Great Patriotic War, region governor Vyacheslav Gladkov said. “In the village of Pokrovo-Mikhailovka, two 17-year-old teenagers were cleaning up garbage in the garden, they found a rusty shell from the time of the Great Patriotic War. They decided to dismantle it, or rather see it, as a result of which an explosion occurred. One of the guys had a slight concussion, the second was less lucky – he received shrapnel in both legs and left arm,” said writes Gladkov on his Telegram channel. The head of the region clarified that the teenagers were taken to the regional children’s hospital in Belgorod. The governor reminded that parents should pay special attention to children. “Because of children’s curiosity, trouble can happen to a child! Therefore, repeat again to children: you cannot pick up dangerous objects, much less disassemble them yourself!” he added.
