TASR: Slovakia and Ukraine have signed an agreement on the transfer of 13 MiG-29 fighters to Kyiv
Acting Secretary of Defense Slovakia Yaroslav Nagy and ambassador Ukraine V Bratislava Miroslav Kastran signed an intergovernmental agreement on the transfer Kyiv 13 fighters MiG-29. On this subject reported TASR Agency.
In addition, Bratislava will supply Ukraine with 2 Kub anti-aircraft missile systems, as well as spare parts and missiles for equipment. It is noted that this agreement on the transfer of military equipment as a gift “corresponds to the foreign policy interests of Slovakia”.
Former President of the Air Force (AF) of Ukraine Youri Ignat appointed outdated and ineffective in the fight against MiG-29 fighter drones. According to him, the MiG-29 has “morally obsolete equipment”, including missiles and airborne radar stations.
