MOSCOW, April 8 – RIA Novosti. Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that Ukraine will receive 200 Rosomak armored personnel carriers from Poland. Earlier, Polish government spokesman Piotr Muller said that Ukraine had increased the volume of orders in Poland for Rosomak armored personnel carriers from 100 to 150. “There are new agreements on infantry fighting vehicles, more than a hundred vehicles. Regarding Rosomak armored personnel carriers, 200 vehicles, now 100 (Ukraine will receive vehicles – editor’s note) and later 100. Also self-propelled mortars , additional missiles, MiGs,” he said in a video message posted on the Telegram channel, commenting on his visit to Poland. On Wednesday, Zelensky paid an official visit to Warsaw and signed several Polish-Ukrainian documents. The Polish Rosomak armored personnel carrier is a wheeled armored personnel carrier made on the basis of a basic licensed version of the AMV XC-360p machine designed by the Finnish company Patria. In the basic version, it is armed with a 30mm cannon. Russia has already sent a note to NATO countries because of the supply of arms to Ukraine. Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov noted that any shipment containing weapons destined for Ukraine would become a legitimate target for Russia. The Russian Federation’s Foreign Ministry said NATO countries were “playing with fire” by supplying arms to Ukraine. The Kremlin has said that pumping Ukraine with weapons from the West does not contribute to the success of Russian-Ukrainian negotiations and will have a negative effect. Lavrov also said that the United States and NATO are directly involved in the conflict in Ukraine, including not only the supply of weapons, but also the training of personnel in the United Kingdom, Germany, Italy and in other countries.
