MOSCOW, March 15 – RIA Novosti. A number of Wildberries pick-up points in Moscow continue to operate, despite reports of the strike, while there are no protesters at the company’s headquarters, a RIA Novosti correspondent was convinced. On Tuesday, PVZ owners and representatives besieged the market office in Moscow over their dissatisfaction with new working conditions, in particular collective liability and a 100% fine for returning goods. The media also reported that distribution points will be closed as part of the strike. The company told the agency that the information about the “strike” and the closure of the pick-up point is false, they continue their work regularly. The marketplace also said it was unsure if those present were actually partners, as they did not provide their data. Thus, Wednesday morning, none of the dissatisfied with the innovations was in the office. At the same time, pick-up points in Moscow continue to operate. In one, RIA Novosti learned that “employees were in a rush” to protest, as the company is already working to review and possibly reverse the terms that sparked the discontent. RIA Novosti sent a request to the company. As the agency’s correspondent in Vladivostok verified earlier on Wednesday, many Wildberries offices in the city also continue to operate as usual. However, according to a PVZ employee on Kalinin Street, “more than half” of the outlets in the city have been closed. The press service of the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Russian Federation announced the day before that the Moscow region prosecutor’s office “will check the information on the violation of the labor rights of employees of the online store Wildberries” in connection with information published in the media.
