The Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) Athletes’ Forum has called for the return of Russians to international tournaments. This is reported on to place organizations.
“Athletes must have access to international competitions, including the Asian Games, without any discrimination,” the athletes said in a statement. Athletes noted that Russians and Belarusians must meet several conditions: act in a neutral status and comply with anti-doping rules. In addition, officials from these countries should not be present at tournaments.
Formerly OCA guest Russian and Belarusian athletes will participate in the Asian Games. The competitions will take place in the fall of 2023 at China.
