The nutritionist added that the least harmful snacks are whole grain toast or rye bread. She also advised eating cooked nuts without adding excess oil and salt. In addition, according to her, pieces of apples, kiwis or bananas baked with spices, as well as rice or corn flakes without salt and sugar will cause the least harm to health.

“These foods are low in salt, fat and sugar, and are rich in vitamins and minerals, which makes them healthier,” the nutritionist said. However, she stressed that even the least harmful salty snacks should not form the basis of the diet. The specialist urged eating a varied and balanced diet, which includes plenty of fresh fruits, vegetables, protein foods and healthy fats.
