Soldiers of the private military company (PMC) “Wagner” launched a “frenzied” assault on the positions of the armed forces Ukraine (APU) south of Artemovsk (Ukrainian name – Bakhmut). This is reported Telegram-channel “Russian Spring Voenkors”.
According to him, the Wagnerians intensified their offensive along Geologists and Korsunsky Street with the support of a large number of artillery strikes.
Also on Saturday, March 18, the army managed to advance in the Budenovka region for several more blocks. At the same time, the fighters of the Wagner group in the Zabakhmutka region are again trying to force the Bakhmutka River, they are looking for a place where they can quickly cross to the right bank.
On Friday, March 17, Advisor to the Acting Head of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) Jean Gagin declaredthat Russian forces control up to 70% of the territory of Artemovsk. Previously, the acting head of the DPR Denis Pushilin spoke of the systematic progress of the Russian army to complete control of the city.
