MOSCOW, March 18 – RIA Novosti. International Criminal Court (ICC) judges Rosario Salvatore Aitala, Antoine Keziyu Mindua and Tomoko Akane, who decided to issue an arrest warrant against Russian President Vladimir Putin, it would be fair to add them to the sanctions lists, have declared Konstantin Kosachev, vice-president of the Council of the Federation. The Russian leader’s press secretary, Dmitry Peskov, says that simply raising the issue of the ICC decision is unacceptable, Moscow does not recognize the jurisdiction of this court and none of its decisions are null and void from the moment the composition of the Pre-Trial Chamber… namely the judges Rosario Salvatore Aitala (Italian, former prosecutor of Rome and adviser to the President of the Italian Senate), Antoine Keziah Mindua (citizen of the DR Congo, who lived all his life living in France and Switzerland) and Tomoko Akane (Prosecutor of Japan A kind of “troika” of ICC judges, where all the defendants are clearly hostile to Russia … I think it would be fair to add them immediately to the sanctions lists on this basis,” he wrote in his telegram channel. Kosachev noted that this is the case when “the case is whitewashed” for prosecution at the ICC ( article 17 of the Rome Statute) Ukrainian media, prosecution Criminal cases against the President of Russia were initiated in Ukraine on February 22, 2022… But in its political aspirations, the ICC (and calling a spade a spade, the Western “collective” behind it) openly neglects its own Statute” , concluded the parliamentarian.
