Character actor Lance Reddick, best known for his role as a lieutenant. Cedric Daniels on ‘The Wire’, has died “suddenly…from natural causes” Friday, his publicist Mia Hansen said the Hollywood journalist. Reddick’s co-stars and collaborators paid tribute to the actor on social media. Wire creator David Simon called it a “a consummate professional, a dedicated collaborator, a beautiful soul and a friend,” while his Wire co-star Wendell Pierce described him as a “a man of great strength and grace.
