Exports also fell in items such as audio and video equipment (down 62%). and cars (down 26.8%). Exports of auto parts in February this year fell by 74.4% and motorcycles by 11.8%. In general, Japan’s exports to Russia in February this year fell by 58.2% and amounted to 33.76 billion yen ($254.53 million).

TOKYO, March 16 – RIA Novosti. Japan’s medical device exports to Russia in February 2023 soared 3,270.4 percent from the same period a year earlier, according to statistics released by the country’s finance ministry.
At the same time, the export volume of steel and iron products during the reporting period fell by 98.8% compared to February 2022, non-ferrous metals – by 87.1%, and paper and paper products – by 54.2%.
Exports also fell in items such as audio and video equipment (down 62%) and cars (down 26.8%). The export of spare parts for cars in February this year fell by 74.4%, and motorcycles – by 11.8%.
