TOKYO, March 16 – RIA Novosti. The issue of North Korea’s complete denuclearization will be discussed at a summit meeting between Japanese and South Korean leaders in Tokyo today, Japanese Chief Cabinet Secretary Hirokazu Matsuno said, calling it “unacceptable “North Korean missile launches that threaten the peace and security of Japan and the region. The summit between Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida and South Korean President Yoon Seok-yeol will be the first visit by a South Korean president to Japan in 12 years, except for a visit by a South Korean leader. Korea to attend the G20 summit in Osaka in 2019. Earlier, Japan had strongly protested to North Korea through the embassy in Beijing and strongly criticized the launch of an intercontinental ballistic missile. from Pyongyang heading east, the Japanese Defense Ministry reported earlier. The rocket flew for about 70 minutes and at 8:19 a.m. (2:19 a.m. Moscow time), presumably, fell 200 kilometers from the island of Oshima in Hokkaido, outside Japan’s exclusive economic zone. The flight range, according to the Japanese military, was 1000 kilometers, the maximum flight altitude was 6000 kilometers. No damage was recorded to Japanese ships and aircraft. As part of the launch, a meeting of the Japanese Security Council was convened with the participation of key ministers. It has previously been reported that the rocket was fired, presumably in a cantilevered trajectory at a high vertical angle. For this reason, the flight altitude is increased and the range is reduced. This is the sixth launch of the DPRK ballistic missile this year. In recent years, it has carried out 37 such launches. On February 18, the DPRK launched the Hwaseong-15 intercontinental ballistic missile. The rocket was launched along a hinged trajectory, that is, at a vertical angle it reached a height of 5768 kilometers, traveled 989 kilometers in 4015 seconds and fell into the sea from the Japan. North Korea called the launch a “sudden exercise”. It is believed to be the first time that Pyongyang, without preparation or warning, ordered its military to launch a North Korean ICBM.
