TEL AVIV, April 9 – RIA Novosti. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) opened artillery fire on Syria in response to missile fire on the Golan Heights, the army press service said. Earlier, the Israeli army confirmed that three rockets were fired in the direction of the Golan Heights, two of which hit Israel. One of the missiles fell in an open area, and the second was shot down by missile defense systems. This is the second rocket attack on Israeli territory from Syrian territory in several hours.
