Israeli army responds to Syrian missile fire in the Golan Heights
Israel Defense Forces (FDI) have responded to missile launches since Syria in the Golan Heights. The army opened fire on Syrian territory, reported army press office.
“IDF artillery is currently bombarding territory in Syria, from where missiles were launched at Israel“, — said in the message.
On the evening of April 8, three rockets were released from Syria to the Golan Heights in northern Israel. Two rockets fell, presumably in Jordananother rocket passed through Israeli territory and landed in an open area south of the Golan Heights.
Later it was reported that a missile launched from the territory of Syria exploded in the air above Jordan. It was also clarified that no one was injured as a result of the incident, no material damage was caused – the armed forces continue to control the situation in the region.
