The man was charged with murder. He pleaded guilty and repented of his act. The investigation intends to seek his arrest.
According to the investigation, on the evening of March 28, in the apartment of a residential building on Beskudnikovsky Boulevard, a man was drunk. A quarrel broke out between him and his girlfriend, during which the person involved in the affair began to strangle her, beat her, and then stab her several times. The girl died at the scene from her injuries.
The man will be sent for an outpatient psychological and psychiatric examination.
March 29 reportedthat he was detained 100 kilometers from Moscow while taking a regular bus to Volgograd region, suspected of the murder of Anna Likhatcheva, 24 years old. His name is Vadim Machulin. Together they rented accommodation in the capital. Likhacheva moved to Moscow a few months ago, studied languages and worked as a tutor.
