In the Church of the Apostles Peter and Paul, Novaya Basmannaya Street in Moscow there was a fire. On this subject informed REN TV with reference to the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
It is specified that the temple was under reconstruction, the fire occurred inside the building, scaffolding burned. The TV station notes that smoke was coming from one of the temple buildings, no open fire was visible.
The area of the fire was 10 square meters. The fire has already been extinguished. The department said no one was injured in the incident.
In January 2022 in the center of Moscow, Spartakovskaya Street, arrived fire on the territory of the Epiphany Cathedral in Yelokhovo. There was a threat of fire spreading to the roof of the building, but the fire was later located and extinguished. The area of the fire was approximately 10 square meters.
