In particular, the canton of Lucerne obliges refugees to sell cars, the price of which exceeds the allowance per person and family – 4 thousand Swiss francs (4.3 thousand dollars) and 10 thousand francs (about 11 thousand dollars), respectively . The car must be sold within a month. Payment of social benefits will be suspended for a period depending on the amount received from the sale.
