KEMEROVO, March 16 – RIA Novosti. A seven-year-old child died in a building fire in Kemerovo, a criminal case has been opened, reports the SUSK press service for the region. As reported, information that when extinguishing a fire in the apartment of one of the houses in Kemerovo, an unconscious child was found, was received by law enforcement agencies on March 15 around 7 p.m. (3 p.m. Moscow time). The child was handed over to provide qualified assistance to the medical workers who arrived, however, resuscitation measures did not yield results, in connection with which his death was declared at the scene. “The investigating authorities of the Investigative Committee… for the Kemerovo region… initiated a criminal case on this fact on the grounds of a crime within the meaning of part 1 of article 109 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (causing death by negligence )”, reports the Ministry. It should be noted that at present, investigators and forensic investigators are carrying out the necessary investigative actions aimed at establish all the circumstances of the incident.Appropriate forensic examinations were also appointed.
