Mayor Payan: a collapsed residential building in the center of Marseille
A residential building collapsed on the night of Sunday April 9, in the center Marseilles. This was announced by the mayor of the French city Benoit Payan in his Twitter-account.
“The collapse of a residential building on rue Tivoli in the 5th arrondissement. Rescue services are operating,” he wrote. Payan also added that residents of adjacent buildings had been evacuated.
In an interview with the France 3 television channel, the mayor said that a fire was currently going on at the scene of the incident, which is hampering search operations.
The reasons for the incident are not specified. No information on casualties at this time.
In February, the governor Novosibirsk region Andrei Travnikov declaredthat the entrance to a five-story residential building collapsed Novosibirsk during a gas explosion. He said the incident was recorded on Lineynaya Street in the Zaeltsovsky district of Novosibirsk.
