MOSCOW, April 12 – RIA Novosti. The HBO Max streaming platform released a trailer for the upcoming Harry Potter series on Wednesday. The video, which is less than a minute long, appeared on the YouTube channel, as well as on the HBO Max Twitter account. “Max has commissioned the first-ever Harry Potter TV series, a faithful adaptation of the iconic books,” the service said in a statement. Previously, Bloomberg reported, citing sources, that the series is expected to have seven seasons based on the number of books in the Rowling saga. A series of eight “Harry Potter” films filmed by Warner Bros based on the books by English writer JK Rowling. The first film, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone, was released in theaters on November 16, 2001. The last film “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2” was released in 2011, after which three more Fantastic Beasts films about the events leading up to the main saga, based on Rowling’s scripts, came out.
