Former US President Donald Trump was indicted by a Manhattan grand jury on Thursday for his role in paying silent money to adult film actress Stormy Daniels, according to his attorney and court sources cited by media.
Although specific charges were not immediately made public, Trump attorney Joe Tacopina confirmed to AP that he was told the grand jury voted to indict Trump on Thursday. CNN also confirmed the indictment, citing “three sources familiar with the matter.”
