ANKARA, March 15 – RIA Novosti. Five people died in floods in Turkey’s Sanliurfa and Adiyaman provinces, and people are missing, Tvnet reported. Torrential rains caused flooding in the Turkish province of Sanliurfa, a hospital was flooded, classes were suspended in schools, the Habertürk TV channel reported earlier. According to the channel, five people have died in the floods so far. Zeynel Abidin Beyazgül, Mayor of Şanlıurfa Municipality, who tuned into the Tvnet broadcast, said that “there are reports of missing persons, but we cannot confirm them.”
