BFM: at least 200 people injured during protests in Saint-Solin, France
At least 200 people were injured in riots during a demonstration in the commune of Sainte-Solin in the west France on Saturday March 25, transmits BFM television channel.
Protest organizers told reporters that around 200 people were injured after clashes at a protest in Saint-Solin. More than 35 police officers were also injured in the riots, according to French law enforcement.
On Saturday, a rally was held where activists called more than 150 organizations and parties against the construction of the reservoir. The demonstration quickly degenerated into violent clashes between demonstrators and police.
Previously reportedthat in Sainte-Solin, during demonstrations against the construction of a reservoir, a photographer was injured and two gendarmerie vehicles were set on fire.
