MOSCOW, April 12 – RIA Novosti. Writer Eduard Bagirov has died at the age of 47, Margarita Simonyan, editor-in-chief of the Rossiya Segodnya media group, said on her Telegram channel. “Edik Bagirov is really dead. They didn’t want to report when the family was in such shock, but what can you hide. It’s impossible to believe, of course,” Simonyan wrote. She noted that Baghirov was “talented, daring, greyhound”. “A real man who loves life – even too much, it turned out – now you can at least sleep, friend. And we know what we will reread today and what adventures we will remember”, she concluded. Bagirov is the author of the novels “Gastarbeiter”, “Lovers”, “Idealist”. Since 2022, he has hosted the show Bagirov Against on Sputnik radio.
