Ostrovok.ru: the share of hotel reservations in the Crimea in the spring of 2023 was less than 1%
Request for reservation of apartments and hotels in Crimea for the spring 2023 period is seriously behind the figures of previous years. This is evidenced by expert data, which cites RBC.
Ostrovok.ru analysts came to the conclusion that the popular resort region began to rapidly lose tourists. As of March 16, the share of reservations of accommodation establishments in the Crimea on the service was less than 1% of all reservations on Russia. Thus, the management is not even in the top 30 in terms of demand. At the same time, in mid-March 2022, recreation in the republic occupied ninth place, and in 2021 – first place.
A noticeable drop in demand for housing in the Crimea is also noted in Sutochno.ru. “In Crimea, there are very few reservations for this summer,” said the director general of the service. Yuri Kuznetsov. “In the top ten in terms of demand, as shown by an analysis of early bookings in mid-March, only Yalta is included.”
