Former US President Donald Trump and his family have not reported hundreds of gifts he received from foreign governments during his tenure, including swords from Saudi Arabia, gold golf clubs from Japan and a portrait of El Salvador, the Democrats of the House Committee on Oversight. They argue that often Trump accepted gifts that were more expensive than the norm set by U.S. law, failed to report it, and ultimately appropriated things that, according to the rules, should be deposited with the state. Swords from Saudi Arabia cost nearly $9,000, the Japanese Prime Minister’s golf clubs were valued at nearly $4,000, and Trump received a vase from India for $8,500. And all the unaccounted gifts cost around $250,000, the report said.
