British Mixed Martial Artist (MMA) Leon Edwards beat the american Kamaru Usman and retained the UFC welterweight championship belt. This is reported by the correspondent of “Lenta.ru”.
The main event of the 286th Numbered League Tournament took place at London. The fight lasted all five rounds and ended with the Briton winning by majority decision of the judges.
Edwards, who defended the belt for the first time, has 21 wins and three losses. Usman has 20 wins and three losses.
In January Leon Edwards expressed himself on a possible duel against a Swedish fighter of Chechen origin Khamzat Chimaeva. “He’s on my list too. He’s the fighter I want to take out.
