BRUSSELS, March 19 – RIA Novosti. Self-declared Kosovo, as part of an agreement on the implementation of the normalization plan with Serbia, has pledged to immediately start negotiations on the autonomy of the Serb communities in the region, said Josep Borrell, chief of EU diplomacy, during a press conference in Ohrid (North Macedonia). Borrell also said that following the talks at the Ohrid summit, Belgrade and Pristina reached an agreement on the implementation of a plan to normalize relations. “In order to implement Article 7 of the Agreement, Kosovo has committed to immediately enter into negotiations <...> to establish specific procedures and safeguards to ensure an appropriate level of autonomy for Serb communities in Kosovo,” Borrell said.
