These technologies can speed up patient outcomes and save doctors time when describing medical images. Currently, artificial intelligence allows you to find signs of diseases in 19 areas, Rakova pointed out.
Based on automation and a scientific approach, new forms of organization of medical care are emerging, aimed at increasing their accessibility and quality. So, in 2020, we created a referral center where radiologists describe more than 80,000 CT scans, MRIs, mammograms and x-ray images 24 hours a day, around the clock. This radiodiagnostic work model has doubled work productivity and reduces the time for preparing a conclusion several times.
As a result of the experiment, scientific methodologies were developed and implemented, based on which more than 200 sets of reference data were prepared, and the first Russia an open library of datasets for the healthcare industry. “Based on the scientific results of the experiment, 11 national standards for the use of artificial intelligence in healthcare have been developed and approved, 10 of which have already entered into force,” Rakova concluded, noting that AI has already joined the AI test. services Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District.
In Moscow, more than 150 medical organizations participate in the experiment on the introduction of AI, more than 1200 units of diagnostic equipment are involved. About twenty IT companies involved in the development of artificial intelligence are participating in the project. More than 20 algorithms participating in the project have been registered by the state as medical devices, allowing them to work outside of the experiment.
In 2023, the project will provide complete solutions for various anatomical areas and modalities. Now doctors in Moscow have access to such a service for the analysis of CT scans of the organs of the chest, he finds signs of nine pathologies. There are plans to automate other routine measurements.
Moscow has been implementing technologies based on artificial intelligence since 2020. Artificial intelligence helps find signs of lung cancer, COVID-19, spine osteoporosis, aortic aneurysm, coronary heart disease , stroke, pulmonary hypertension, hydrothorax, as well as breast cancer, vertebral hernias, flat feet and other diseases in X-ray images.
