NDTV: In India, a man attacked a girl with a knife for refusing to marry her
IN India a man attacked a former lover who refused to marry him. On this subject informed NDTV.
A pair of New Delhi met for four years, but shortly before the incident the girl decided to break off relations. On Sunday April 9, while she was at a friend’s house, her ex-boyfriend broke in and attacked her with a knife.
The girl was seriously injured in the head and neck. The victim is currently in hospital. Investigators managed to establish that the young man intended to kill her because of her refusal to marry him.

The suspect was arrested based on CCTV footage. The man is in custody. He is charged with attempted murder, intimidation, premeditated entry into a house, bodily harm and forcible confinement. The investigation is ongoing.
