A district deputy from the Kaluga region, who did not get up during the performance of the Russian anthem, was summoned to the military registration and enlistment office during a meeting of the commission for ethics, according to the military commissariat, the summons is necessary to check military records. At the end of February, the information center of the municipal district of Maloyaroslavets “Mayak” (Kaluga region) published on its page of the social network “VKontakte” a publication that during the performance of the national anthem of the Federation of Russia, began the report of the head of the district, the deputy of the district assembly of the communist party Alexander Lependin remained seated. This angered MPs. Lependin himself in the comments to the publication wrote that he could not get up because his legs hurt after training. At the same time, he noted that during a moment of silence in memory of those who died during the special operation, he “gathered his strength into a fist” and stood up. Lependin told RIA Novosti that during a meeting of the District Assembly Ethics Committee on Tuesday, he and another lawmaker were summoned to the military registration and enlistment office. “The summons was handed over to verify personal data, address, children. I already visited the military registration and enlistment office this morning. They checked everything,” the MP said. Maloyaroslavetsky District Military Commissar Igor Merkulov confirmed to RIA Novosti that the summonses had been served. “To verify the data from the military archives, I delivered the summons to the citizens whom I notified during the partial mobilization, who did not come to see me. Two,” he said. Lependin himself told RIA Novosti that he did not receive a summons during the partial mobilization. “I was told she was taken to the mailbox at my mother’s address in October. We did not observe this, and it was not before, my mother was dying, they have been buried in early November,” the MP said.
